.EDU Redesign

.EDU Next Generation

The UF homepage receives more than 8 million unique pageviews from people around the world. To meet the needs of these users and support our rise to five, the university launched a rebrand of the homepage to create an accessible, intuitive, innovative and distinctive site with accompanying templates.

In January of 2019, the Office of Strategic Communications and Marketing alongside UFIT partnered with 160over90 to begin the redesign. A steering committee was formed and charged with directing the decision-making body that governed the design process. An .EDU governance was adopted, and advisory teams were appointed.   The advisory committees consists of members from various facets and positions within the UF community.  They are web/IT experts, communicators, faculty, the Electronic Information Technology Accessibility Officer and UF Health representatives. The .EDU Governance and list of Advisory team members is available.
