Blake Trauschke

Public Relations Specialist

Blake is responsible for anything and everything communications. She manages several of our websites, writes the “From Florida” weekly newsletter, fosters a relationship with local reporters, and reports on institutional matters at the University of Florida. Blake graduated Cum Laude from the College of Journalism and Communications with a degree in journalism. She has previously worked as copy desk chief at The Independent Florida Alligator, digital desk editor at WUFT and news desk editor for a newswire service.

When not at work, Blake can be found spending time with friends and family or relaxing with an iced coffee in one hand and a good book in the other.
